— ♦ STEADY RAIN LAST EVENING. There was a recurrence of stormy ; weather on the West Coast yesterday j and coastal shipping has again been I interrupted. The steamer Rarawa was delayed at New Plymouth last evening, and her next trip from Onehunga to New Plymouth will now be made at 3 p.m. toj morrow. The Rimu, at Raglan, has I also been delayed and will not sail from j Onehunga for Hokianga until noon tomorrow. In the city last evening steady rain was experienced for several hours. According to the Government weather I observer, the total fall amounted to ; .61 inches. This figure brings the j month's total to date to 2.9S inches. j
