The Auckland Labour Party at its meeting last evening decided that in view of the acute unemployment in Auckland and district, the following resolution be forwarded to the Tit. Hon. the Prime Minister, and the Pr'e-s: "That the attention of the (iovernment be drin "J to the largo number of unemployed seeking relief from the Auckland Hospital Board, and the Minister of Public Works and Railways lv urged to immediately commence necessary public work with a view to relieving the. position."
