'•Although we have just opened the new buildings, we find that in some respects we are compelled seriously to consider how alterations in the furnishings can be made to increase the accommodation of certain rooms," the professor explained, "and already the actual use of the rooms has had to be altered to some extent to accommodate classes that are larger than were anticipated." Since the building was planned some four or five years ago, the increase in the number of students had exceeded all the anticipations of the college authorities. They thought at the time that they were providing comfortably for at least some 20 years to come, but j already they were meeting with pres- , sure that they did not anticipate until late in the thirties.
