OTAHUHU POLICE COURT.
. A sitting of the Otahuhu Police Court was held yesterday, Mr. W. R. McKean being on the Bench, and Sergeant Parsons representing the police. A charge of being in arrears to the extent of £208 towards the maintenance of his illegitimate child against John O'Toole was adjourned, the defendant to make application for a variation of the order. A separation claim made against Oliver Taylor was refused, hut for failing to provide adequate maintenance for his wife and children he was ordered to pay £3 per week and fined £2 2/. A charge of having failed to comply with the standard prescribed by the regulations for the sale of milk against Robert Knight waft dismissed. On another charge-of selling milk containing 43.3 per cent of water,' defendant was lined £10, and costs 24/. For being on licensed premises after closing hours, Gus. Martin was fined £2. A charge of driving a motor car in a negligent manner against Geo. W. Cook was dismissed. For driving a motor bus in a manner dangerous to the public, Ronald Ammore was fined 20/, and costs 27/. William Anthony Thomson had his license endorsed, and was fined 10/ and costs 20/ for driving a motor cycle in a manner dangerous to the public.
