Mr. Harry Green (New York). th« well-known comedian, is at the Hotel Cargen. Mr. J. Wilson, of Remuera, has gone with his brother-in-law, Dr. McGill, to the. south of France, and will return to New Zealand in June. Mr. David Carter, manager of the Uuion Steamship Company, and Mrs. Carter, left by the Niagara to-day ea route to Honolulu. Mr. J. Staples, of Christchurch, the New Zealand Advertising Club's delegate to the World's Advertising Congress at Philadelphia, left Auckland for America to-day. Staying at the Star Hotel are Mr. R Rayner (Melbourne). Mr. J. H. Cooper (Nelson), Mr. W. Duthic (Wellington), Mr. L. J. Donaldson (Wellington), Mr. F. G. Kissell (Wellington), Mr. T. McLennan (Hamilton). Mr. V. H. Potter, M.P. for Roskill, is still confined to his home as the result of an attack of acute sciatica. Mr. Porter, who has had 21 years' service with the Bank of New Zealand, was formerly stationed at Ashburton. and took up the position of manager at Invercargill some eighteen months a?o.
