Charlie Purdy, the Auckland lightweight boxer, lias three engagements In prospect. On May _4, at Wellington, he is to meet the Filipino, Solvino .lainito. At Auckland, on June 14. he will cross gloves with "Artie" Hay. welterweight champion or New Zealand. The title will not he in dispute. Ten days afterwards he will meet Trowern for the seventh time, at Hastings. A purse of £200 will he in dispute on each of the three occasions.
