COUNTY COUNCIL ELECTIONS.
POLLS TO-MORROW. WAITEMATA AND MANUKAU. j The tri-ennial election of councillors ' for the W 7 aitemata and Manukau County Councils will be held to-morrow. Polls will also be held for the election of country members of the Auckand Hospital > Board and Auckland Harbour Board;' also four members for the Waitemata Electric Power Board. In the town district of Henderson, there are two com-1 missioners to be elected. i In the case of the following ridings in ' the Waitemata County, there will b; j no election, only one nomination hay- ] ing been received in every instance: ! Titirangi, Birkenhead, Kaukapakapa and \ Waikumete. There are two candidates '• for the Wainui. Takapuna and Pukeatua ' ridings; three for the Kitmeu, Mairetahi and W.-.itakere ridings; and four for I % n Waipareira riding. I In the Papakura. Papatoetoe, and Wairoa ridings of the Mann-1 kau County there is no poll required. In the remaining ridings. | Mangere, Pakuranga and Tauranga I there are two candidates in every case ■ for one seat. ! There will be no election for a member j of the Auckland Hospital Board to re- ' present the combined constituent districts of the Counties of Waitemata, j Rodney, and Great Barrier Island, and j the town districts of Glen Eden, Wark- j worth, Henderson and Helensville. There | are two candidates standing to represent. the combined districts of the County of 1 Manukau. the town districts of Papatoetoe, Manurewa, Papakura and Howick, and the Borough of Otahuhu. j Four members are required to represent the County of Waitemata and the Helensville town district on the Waitemata Electric Power Board. There ; are eleven nominations. The representative of the Waitemata ' County Council on the Auckland Harbour Board has been returned unopposed. There is a member to be elected by the ' combined districts of the Raglan. Waipa i and Waikato Counties. For this seat there are two nominations. i There are four candidates for the office of commissioners for the Henderson town district. The number of vacancies is two. . I
