MOTOR FATALITY.
CAR STRIKES BRIDGE. COLLEGE COOK KILLED. i (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) HASTINGS, this day. A fatal motor accident occurred near 'the Te'Aute Hotel at nine o'clock last evening, when a car driven by Mr. George Priest, and containing three ■ i passengers, crashed into a small bridge. ; | After, the impact, the car somersaulted ; into the creek below, landing on its • wheels,. j A man named Dillon, cook at Te Aute i College, was killed, but the others I escaped with a few scratches. The car i was extensively damaged.
