HERNE BAY TRAMS.
(To the Editor.} ■sir—T was pleased to road Wallace •Hamilton's remarks re the poor tram service on tbe Heine Bay run. for T also am a sufferer from the Tramway Corporation's neglect in this case. During -the five o'clock rush, after an interval „f about fifteen minutes, one perfectly inadequate Heme Bay car saunters down Queen Street, and it is absolutely impossible for a mere woman •to gam admittance owing to the large number of men who also have been vainly waitiii- for a -tram. In the mornings it is not unusual to wait ten minutes for a iram and tben be left standing on the road, as the one and only car rushes past carrying more passengers than one car should he called upon to carry. Were the buses running to Heme Bay, the Tramway Corporation would be forced te improve the tram service on this route. — 1 am, etc., DENIZE SCOTT.
