CHORAL SOCIETY CONCERT.
The Auckland Choral Society will open its season on Thursday, May 13, -with the performance of "Hiawatha," by Coleridge-Taylor. The soloists will be Miss Christina Ormiston, .Mr. A. H. Ripley and Mr. Samuel Hardwick. The second concert will be given on July 21, when "Faust" will be played. For this, Mr.. Arthur Jordon, the noted tenor, has been engaged.
