ASSAULT WITH BAMBOOS.
PEKING, April 23. Chang Hsueh-liang, son of the Manchurian leader Marshal Chang Tso-lin, and Generals Chang Tsung-chapg and Lo Ching-lin, of Fengtien have entered Peking. The representatives of Marshal Wu Pel-fu are expected shortly. When they arrive a,- conference will be held to discuss outstanding ques* ti'ons. The Commissioner of Customs at Canton was assaulted by strike pickets armed wjth bamboos. He was not seriously hurt.—"(Router.)
