With favourable conditions it Is more than probable that Minton Derby's owner will hold a rare chance of collecting: the sum offered. The programme Issued by the Canterbury Park Trotting Club Tor its meeting to be beld on June 3 and 5, is no better than might have been expected from a club particularly fortunate In the choice of its racing dates. The principal event, the King George Handicap, is worth 600sovs, and is for horses that have done 4.32 or better, while the, Paparua Handicap, Tor 4.35 class horses, is worth 500sovs. The sprint events are worth-33Osovs and 350..50vs each, but the prizes offered for the real racehorse, the unhoppled trotter, i are very smau, ranging In value from 117«gns .M SoOaov*.
