INDUSTRIAL EXHIBITION.
DISPLAY AT PARNELL. : St. Mary's Industrial Exhibition, which was held at the Parnell Hall this afternoon, and which is to continue this evening, is the first of its kind to be held in tbe parish. Its success is owing to the very energetic workers and the kindness of many people who have willingly . forwarded special exhibits. The total entries number sonic 500, and include a display of first-class needle work. There are two very important exhibits, both of which belong to some centuries past. One is part of the costume as worn in the Court of George 111., about 130 years ago, Worked by the nuns in Ireland. The other is a bronze medal won by William French in 1863. This curio measures about nine inches in diameter. Competitions and games are held down stairs, away from the exhibits."
