GOVERNOR-GENERAL.
ITINERARY OF ISLAND CRUISE. i. '. V .On Monday of next week the GovernorGeneral,', accompanied by Lady Alice Fergusson, will leave Auckland by the Government steamer Tutanekai on a visit to the Cook Island and Samoa. After leaving Auckland the Tutanekai ■will first proceed to Mangain, in the Cook Group, where she is due to arrive on May 3. Thence she. will go to Rarotonga, where a stay of three and a half days will be -made, Mauke, Mitiaro, Atiu and Aitutaki, being due at the last named port on May 10. Before .proceeding to Samoa, the Tutanekai will make calls at Palmerston and Niue Islands, -short stays being made *at each place. .'"■•■ • A full week will be spent at Apia, from May 16 to May 23, arid the steamer will then go to Pago Pago to replenish her coal -supply. From the" latter place she will 'proceed to Vavau,i Nukualofa, and Suva. On arrival at the last named port the Tutanekai will again bunker, preparatory to sailing oh her return trip to ' Wellington. She is scheduled to arrive at' the capital port on June 8.
