The Richardson steamer while attempting to enter Wairoa River yesterday, went ashore about 1J chains outside the eastern pier and now lies high and dry. , Cargo is being - discharged. Some difficulty may be Experienced ia getting the vessel off unless a shinglt bank shifts, and if southerly weather springs up the position may be consider" ably worse. The vessel is undamaged.
