THE R.M.S. NIAGARA. Telegraphic advice received by -the local office of the Union Company states that the R.M.s. Niagara arrived at Suva yesterday morning. The Niagara, which is - bound for Vancouver, cleared Auckland on Tuesday last. WEST ISLIP. Messrs. Henderson and Macfarlane advise that the Swayne and lioyt Line steamer West Islip cleared Los Angeles on March 17 with timber, case oil. and general cargo for discharge at Auckland. Wellington, Hobart, and Melbourne. She is due to arrive at this port on April 11!. . . . THE KNARESBRO. For Wellington, where she will continue discharge of her New York cargo, the Ellerman Bucknall steamer Knaresbro was expected to leave Auckland at 3 o'clock this afternoon. The freighter's other discharging ports are Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Port Pirie. THE MONTAGUE. . Flying the flag of the Swayne and Hoyt Line, the steamer Montague is expected to arrive'at Auckland-from Pacific Coast ports on Sunday of next week. This vessel, which comes to the local agency of Messrs. Henderson and Macfarlane. will also discharge at Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Australian ports. THE R.M.M.S. AORANGI. En route from Vancouver, via the usual Island ports, the Union Company's Jloyal Mail motor liner Aorangi is due to arrive at and leave Suva' oh Thursday of next week. The motor ship is. due at Auckland on Sunday of next week, and is to continue her voyage. to Sydney on the following day. THE TASMANIA." . Her loading itinerary having been altered, the New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Tasmania'left Opua for Gisborne yesterday. The vessel will next proceed to Napier,' New Plymouth, Wanganui, and Wellington, and will sail finally from the last-named port on Apri 17 for London, via Montevideo. THE KURNALPI. ■ Loading for East Coast, the small steamer Kurnalpi shifted from the King's wharf to Hie Queen's wharf to-day. This vessel, which has made several trips to Northern ports and Onehunga, is timed to sail for Tokoniaru Bay at TO p.m. to-day. This will be her first trip to East Coast ports. - THE TURAKIXA. At present loading at New Plymouth, the New Zealand -Shipping Company's steamer Turakina is to leave there on Wednesday for Titnaru, Lyttelton,-, .Wellington, and Auckland. She is to complete her cargo at this port, and is to sail hence on April 13 for Glasgow, Liverpool, Manchester,-and Avonmouth. '. ATHENIC .SAILED. A departure from Auckland this morning was the White Star liner Athenlc. for Wellington to complete discharge of her.Home cargo, and to load for her return trip. Taking passenger*.' mail, and cargo, the Athenlc is scheduled to sail finally from Wellington for Southampton and Loudon on : April 9. ' 'CARGO.'FROM NEW. YORK. Advice from the local agents of the Commonwealth and Dominion Line states that the steamer Port Curtis was to sail from Xew York on Wednesday last for Auckland. Gii«borne, Wellington, Lyttelton.' Dunedin and New Plymouth. She will be followed by the Port Hunter, which is scheduled to sail from the American capital on May 15 with cargo for tho four main ports of the Dominion.. THE CANADIAN CHALLENGER. For further discharge of her cargo from Halifax, the Canadian Government steamer Canadian Challenger was expected to leave Wellington for Lyttelton to-day. Later she will 'proceed to Dunedin to complete discharge and to continue loading. She will call at Wellington on her way back, to this port, where she is due to arrive about April 2. The Canadian Challenger is to fill up at Auckland, being scheduled to sail finally for New York, Boston, and Montreal the day following her arrival. . KAITOKE IN PORT. After a fine weather voyage from Devonport. Tasmania, the! Union Company's steamer Kaitoke arrived at Auckland at 6 o'clock this morning, and berthed nbout three-hours later'at the eastern side of the King's wharf. The Kaitoke, which was at this port about a month ago, proceeded hence to Westport for bunkers, and from the coal port to/Wallaroo, where'she commenced "loading her. present general cargo. From Wallaroo she went to Adelaide and Devonport to (ill up, sailing from the lastnamed port on the-evening of March 13. She will berth at the Prince's wharf. ■ The Wainul left Napier last evening, and Gisborne'this morning; for Auckland, where she is.due to-raorrow afternoon. On arrival she will-berth at the Queen's wharf. COMMONWEALTH AND DOMINIONUNITS. Following are the latest movements of the Commonwealth' and Dominion Line steamers engaged in the Lulled KingdomNew Zealand trade :— The Port Hardy sailed from Liverpool on March 13 with cargo for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. The Port. Napier sails from London on March 24 for Suva, Auckland, Dunedin and New Plymouth. The Port Melbourne is to clear London on May 5 for Auckland, Wellington and New Plymouth. The motor ship Port Dunedin leaves London ou June 10 for Dunedin and Lyttelton.
