SESSION AND CONFERENCE.
PARLIAMENT OPENS AS USUAL.

WELLINGTON, this day.
"We will start the session at the ÜBual time," said the Prime Minister (Mr. C oates )> w hen asked by the "Star" correspondent whether the announcement of the Imperial Conference in October will cause any modification of the Government's plans.
The Premier, in reply to further questions, said that there would be a good programme of legislation, and possibly would continue until October or afterwards. It all depended on Parliament's working pace.
When asked who would lead the House in his absence, and when he would need leave New Zealand, Mr. Coates declared that he need not make his plans until the necessity arose.
