HOCKEY.
WAIUXU LADIES' CLUB. The annual meeting of the Wahiku Ladies' Hockey Club took place in the Wesley Hall on Monday night. The report stnted that the club had a very successful season, the A team being runners-up for the Avery Cup. The following officers -were elected for the ensuing year: President, Mr. L. E. Arbuckle: vice-presidents, Messrs. A. Duthie. E. Hay. P. Duff, A. P. Jack. L. Turrell ; captain. Miss I. Farrelly ; vicecnptain. Miss Pleydell ; secretary and treasurer. Miss Bell : committee. Misses Meiklejohn. Brighouse. Z. Robinson, N. Fl.avell. Clark, with captain, vice-captain and secretary: selection committee. Misses I. and T. Farrelly and M. Pleydell: delegates to Franklin Hockey Association, Messrs. Arbuckle and Turrell. Votes of thanks -were pa.=sed to Mr. Moselen for the use of his paddock, to the Press, outgoing officers, and Jir. Duff.
