ANY DIFFERENCE 7 CHINESE GAMBLERS FINED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) .WELLINGTON, this day. As the result of. a. raid on Chinese houses in Tory, Taranaki and Haining Streets- yesterday, -Louis* Wing ■ was : fined £10. and Wong'. Gun and Ah Lee £30 each. Five Europeans, who were found on the premises, were fined £2 each. ■Counsel for defendants said it did not appear that fines would stop this form of gambling which, he said, differed very little from the art unions run by Europeans.
