The directors of the Hume Pipe Company of Australia, Ltd.. intend to pay an interim half-yearly dividend at the rate of S per cent per annum on March 31. .\ ball is to be {riven to the men of the Australian Squadron by the Auckland branch of the Navy League on March 19, and a tcleeram has just-been received by the branch accepting the invitation with pleasure. The City Council has given the Town Hall and decorations free of charge, and has generously guaranteed the League to the extent of £200 agaiust loss.
