MOTOR TAXATION DISCUSSED. ELECTION OF OFFICERS. While it was recognised that ' taxation to provide for the formation and maintenance of roads was inevitable and • j necessary, it was contended that the I present method of taxation was inequitable'in operation, and that.' legislation j should be enacted that would divide j taxation fairly with regard to all users of road? in the Dominion.
