Assent to the raising of loans by the following local bodies is gazetted:— Kaitieke County Council, for widening, culverting and metalling roads, £12o0: Kaitaia Town Board, for formation and metalling of a portion of Empire Street, £400; bhakune Borough Council, for paying off the unpaid portion of the loan raised for electric light extension purposes, £425: Tauranga County Council, for metalling a portion of the Taurftnga-Matamata highway, £2800, for the reconstruction of a portion of the Katikati-Waijii Road and the purchasing of machinery, £3500, and for completing thu reconstruction of certain streets, £200; Waiapu County Council, for metalling the Takapau-Ihungia Road, £2000.
