REFORM PARTY'S ASPIRANTS. SELECTION TO-NIGHT. The several aspirants for the Reform Party's selection of a candidate to contest the Eden seat, which will be rendered vacant by the appointment of Sir James Parr as High Commissioner, will face the ordeal at a general meeting of the party, to be held at the Kozie Theatre, "Mount Al. rt, to-night. The meeting will be private, the only persons to be admitted bein£ the delegates of the various sub-branches of the Reform League, and the candidates for nomination. It is stated at Reform headquarters that the choice will be made definitely to-night. Nominations were called for to-day by the Labour Party for candidates to contest the seat against but it is not expected that anyone will oppose the nomination of Mr H. G. K. Mason, who has fought the lr.st two elections on behalf of the party, and is therefore regarded as having a prior right to the nomination.
