LICENSING COMMITTEES.
COUNTRY NOMINATIONS. TWO ELECTIONS NECESSARY. No election will be necessary in respect of the licensing committees for the Hamilton, Waikato and Tauranga districts, in each of which the retiring members have been re-elected unopposed. Nine nominations were received for five seats on the Bay of Plenty committee, and eight for the Waitomo committee.
The following members of the Hamilton Licensing Committee have been returned unopposed:—Messrs. J. R. Fow W. F. Mason, R. English, G. Parr and J McKinnon.
The retiring members of the Waikato Licensing Committee have been reelected:—Messrs. G. A. Empson, F. Quin, A. S. Wallace, T. Mervyii Weils and J. W. Anderson.
Tauranga Licensing Committee mom bers have been re-elected:—Messrs. .1 Brown, R. King, G. Murdoch, (.'. C ISforris and J. Pohlen.
The nominations for five seats on the Bay of Plenty Licensing Committee are as follow: —Messrs. G. S. Moody. A. Young, J. H. Reid. H. R. Hopg. "P. F. Jackson. C. H. Bridge, F Recce. M Doyle, H. J. F. Tombleson.
The eight candidates nominated for the Waitomo Licensing Committee are as follow:—Messrs G. Bird. W. H. Nbsworthy. J. W. Seymour. P. R Smyth. H. T. Morton. B." P. Brewer. R. H. Piggott and W. F. Jenkins.
