COUNTESS GIVES BOND.
ADMITTED TO NEW YORK. FOR TEN DAYS ONLY. NEW YORK, February 22. Acting on instructions received from the Labour Department at Washington, the Immigration Commissioners last evening released Countess Cathcart on her giving a personal bond for £100. She is to be allowed to spend a 10 days' visit to New York. The countess arrived in the city from Ellis Island just before midnight, after a stay of 12 days on the island. —Reuter.
