The Japanese training ship, Iwate, was expected to leave Wellington for Auckland to-day. On arrival on Thursday morning the Iwate will berth at the Central wharf. She will remain at Auckland until March 3, when she will sail for Fiji. THE HANNA SKOGLAND. An arrival at Auckland at a late hour last night was the Norwegian steamer Hanna Skogland, with a full cargo of sulphur, from Texas. On arrival the steamer anchored in the stream until this morning, when she berthed at the eastern side of the King's wharf. For her ree-ent voyage the Hanna 'Skogland loaded all her <MJ-go at Sabine and sailed from that port on the morning of January 15. She experienced favourable conditions from the commencement or her voyage, and -arrived at Colon on ihe afternoon of January 23. Having replenished her bunkers she passed through the Panama Canal ou January 24, and resumed her voyage to Auckland on the same <1,.y. THE NORFOLK. Now taking in cargo for London at the Queen's wharf, the Federal Line steamer Norfolk is expected to leave Auckland about March 8 for Wellington, where she will complete her cargo. KAIWARRA'S MOVEMENTS. •Information received by the local office eft the Union Comoany states that their warner Kaiwarra was expected to load at Devonport Tasmania, to-day. For San Francisco, via Fiji, the Union Company's trans-Pacific freighter Wairuna was expected to clear Sydney yesterday. The Wairnna has beon freed to load at Vancouver and San Prancisco late In March and early In April foj N*~ Zealand and Australian ports. THE PORT CHALMERS. To continue loading for London, the Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Chalmers is announced to sail for New Plymouth at midday to-morrow. This steamer is expected to sail ftnaiij- from New Zealand about March 12. THE HUNTINGDON. At presen: berthed at the Queen's wharf, the Federal Line steamer Huntingdon is expected to sail on .Sarnrday for Wellington, where she will continue discharge of her general cargo from Liverpool. Later she will complete discharge at Lyttelton, Dunedln and Bluff, and commence loading for the United Kingdom. THE OMANA. To the agency of the Northern Co., the Lamb Co.'s steamer Omana is expected to arrive at Auckland from New »Plymouth about Thursday, of the present week- She will berth at "the Central wharf. The Omana is coming to this port to complete discharge of her cargo of coal and timber from Newcastle, and to commence loading timber for Sydney. THE MATAKANA. Repairs to the Shaw, Savill and Albion Line steamer Matakana, which damaged her propellor on the eve of her departure from England for New Zealand about two weeks, ago. will be completed this week, and the steamer is expected to sail from Liverpool on Saturday. She is bringing general cargo for Anckland. Wellington. Lyttelton, and Dunedln. and Is expected to arrive at this port about April 16. WEST CALERA TO-NIGHT. According to a radio report received in Anckland yesterday afternoon, the Swayne and Hoyt Line sreamr-r We?- Calera will arrive in port from San Francisco at 10 o'clock this oveuing. On arrival she" will anchor in the stream, where she will remain until to-morrow morning, when she will berth at the King's wharf. The West Calera, which is under the local agency of Messrs. Henderson and Macfarlane, will j unload a quantity of timber, case oil, and i general cargo at this port, and will then proceed to Wellington, Biuff and Melbourne to complete discharge. KCRNALPI RETURNED. After an absence of nearly three weeks, the coastal steamer Kurnalpl returned to Auckland from northern ports this morning. The steamer sailed from Auckland on February 3 and worked her usual northern ports. She also proceeded down the West Coast as far as Onehunga. A considerable amount of stormy weather was experienced, but the steamer behaved well. On her return voyage she met with more favourable conditions, and made an uneventful trip. On arrival this morning she berthed at the King' 3 wharf. She is expected to sail again on Thursday. ULIMAROA TO-NIGHT. Bringing passengers, mails and cargo from Sydney, the Huddart Parker Company's steamer Ulimaroa has reporteel by wireless that she expects to arrive at Anckland at 8 o'clock this evening. On arrival in the harbour she will anchor for medical inspection, and is expected to berth at the Prince's wharf in about an honr and a-half after her arrival. On her return trip to Sydney she Is to leave Auckland at 11 o'clock on Friday morning. THE TONGARIRO. Arriving from London at a late hour last evening, the New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Tongariro anchored in the Hauraki Gulf for the night. This morning she weighed anchor and proceeded to the powder anchorage off Motuihi. where she commenced discharge of a quantity of explosives. Later she will come into port and berth at the Queen's wharf to commence discharge of her general cargo. On her recent voyage the Tongariro cleared London on January 16 and passed through the Panama Canal on February 2. After unloading the local portion of her cargo,, she is to proceed to southern ports to complete discharge and to commence loading for her return trip. THE PORT VICTOR. Later advice received by Heather Rober-, ton Ltd.. states that the Common- j wealth and Dominion Line gteamer Port! Victor, which was previously expected to! arrive at Auckland from Bunbury to-1 morrow, will not now arrive at this port before March 4. After clearing Bunbury j the steamer proceeded to Port Kembla for bankers and is expected to clear the last- j named port on Saturday of the present: week. She will unload 800,000 ft of hard-1 wood at this port and will then proceed to Wellington. Lyttelton, and Dunedin to. complete discharge. She will be docked at Port Chalmers for cleaning and painting, and will then carry out a Homeward loading programme. UNION CO.'S STEAMERS. | 'Movements of vessels under the flag of ■ the Union Co. are announced as follow:— The Katoa left Timaru last evening for Auckland, via ports. I The Kaimanawa has been fixed to load at! Westport for Auckland to-morrow. The Kurow left Lyttelton for Auckland at 6 p.m. yesterday. On arrival at this port she will be docked for cleaning and painting. 1 The Waipahi is to load at Dunedin for Auckland on Friday. She will complete 1 her cargo at Lyttelton and Wellington. The Kaikorai is expected to leave Wel--1 lington for Newcastle this evening. >' The Kaitangata was expected to leave Napier for Auckland at 3 p.m. to-day. The Wainui is to sail at 5 p.m. to-day for East Coast ports. The Kekerangu was discharging at the Queen's wharf to-day.
