CONDUCT OF ELECTIONS.
(To tha Editor.) Sir.—Referring to the articles which have appeared at intervals in the "Star' on the conduct of elections (Parliamentary and municipal) by "A Deputy Returning OfScer," most of his statements remind mc of the truth oi tbe savins that: "A little knowledge is a dangerous thing."' While I have no intention of entering into a controversy on the subject. I should say that there is a very good reason—although it may not be apparent to the writer of the articles in question—for every official operation connected with elections, li he has any suggestions worth while I think he would be well advised to submit them to the authorities concerned isstead of rushing into print- —I am. etc, ANOTHER D.R.O.
