ADMINISTRATIVE CHANGES. COLONEL BRAY'S SUCCESSOR. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) PALMERSTOX NORTH, Friday. The Salvation Army announces the appointment of Lieut.-Colonel Simpson, secretary for the South Australian territory, as men's social secretary for New Zealand, a position held until recently by Colonel Bray, who has retired from active service and returned to Australia. An alteration of the divisional districts, increasing the status of the central north division, with headquarters at Palmerston North, has also been announced. Central north comprises the districts of Poverty Bay, Hawke's Bay, Manawatu and Wairarapa, bst by the new arrangement Wairarapa and the corps at Levin and Foxton will be included in the Wellington division, and what has been known as the Taranaki and King Country division, comprising Taumarurrui, Raetihi, Taihape. Marten and part of the Taranaki, will be absorbed by the central north command, making a total strength of this division of 24 corps.
