SCOTS GUARDS' BUGLES.

LONDON, January 31.

Surprise was caused by Scots Pipers playing a lament and the Scots Guards sounding "The Last Post" in the course of a service yesterday in Trafalgar Square in memory of King Charles 1. it i= recalled that two years ago, when the buglers of the Grenadier Guards sounded. "The Last Post," Mr. Stephen Walsh, who was then Secretary of \Var, said a mistake had been made in allowing the Army to participate in the service, and there would be no repetition of the incident.
