RACECOURSE ACCIDENT.
SIX HORSES FALL. THREE JOCKEYS IN HOSPITAL. During the running of the Takapuna Hurdles to-day at Devonport, six horses came down and their jockeys sustained more or less serioue injuries. Three jockeys were in consequence sent to the hospital. E. Preston, rider of Daddy's Girl sustained a broken jaw, and was pretty badly shaken. Ryan, rider of Mangahewa was badly knocked about. Fielding, rider of Jig had his collar bone broken, and Drisco'll, rider of Air Queen sustained bruises on his back.
