(Received 10 a.m.) PARIS, January 29. , "Le Temps" asks why Mr. Winston J Churchill ( Chancellor of the Exchequer) requested France to pay three times as ~m u ch as Italy when the respective debts . were £020,000,000 and £610,000,000. j The paper adds: "If Italy gets only ■ one j fi-fth the amount of our reparations, .it means that France's suffering was five* .times greater during the war."—(A. and N.Z.
