SOLICITOR HITS J.P. " Ton have an ungovernable temper, and this is not the first time yon have lost control of it and behaved in a disgraceful manner," said the Reading magistrate to Henry Harbridge Jennens, solicitor, of Tilehurst, near Reading, in fining him £3, including costs, for assaulting Leonard Wheeler, a Reading J.P. It was stated that Jennens walked into the Tilehurst Constitutional Club, of which Mr. Wheeler is the chairman, during prohibited hours, and asked for two glasses of Beer. On being refused by the steward, he approached Mr. Wheeler, who was engaged in a game of darts. Mr. Wheeler said, " You know the rule as well aa I do," and added that he could not authorise the steward to serve him.
