The application of raw linseed oil, night and morning, is said to be an effectual cure for and preventive of chapped hands. To clean plaster of Pari3 ornaments cover them -with a ' thick layer of starch and leave till dry. When dry, remove the starch with a stiff brush, arid the ornament should be as clean as when new.
