ANNIVERSARY DAY TOURNEY. Bowlers had a busy day yesterday on the various greens, conditions for play boln» ideal. Results:— * AUCKLAND. The Auckland Club held a procressta pairs tourney. A. H. Keesins. with ii Trim was the winning: skip, S. Coldicutt "W c! ■Pigsott, G. vv, Dowlin? (Haitaitai),' and I* B. D. Esam tying for second place with four wins each. .1. Alexander was first among the leads with five wins, and SL Treicey with four and a-half wins, was second. ' CARLTON. Twenty-four teams took part in the C&rlton Club's competition, and the following were section winners:— ' •Section A.—Clarkson, Guy. Coutts Ball, 5 wins. Section B. —F. Wilson. A. Coltmaa, K. Coltman. Lamb. 4 wins, 1 loss.. Section C.— Torbett, Bowling, Butlmi, Boyne. 5 wins. Section. D.—Hidincs. Garrard, Saitoa, Mcßobie, 4 wins. 1 Toss. In ' the section play-off Mcßobie beat Boyne, and Ball beat Lamb. The final will take place on the Carlion green to-day between Mcßobie and Ball. ETSOM. A progressive pairs tonrney was celltested by members of the Epsom Club. The winning skip was W. Wallace, and J. Wylie was the most successful lead. ELLERSLIE. Five games of fifteen heads were played at the Ellerslie green in the elu'.Vs-pairs toorney. (.J. "Wilkinson was unbeaten among the skips, Macklow securing four wins, and Coppins, Flyger and Whitehouse tiree eacii. The winning lead was G. Hunter, with four successes. Donnell. Coombe, Walte, Maciej, Westbroke and»Christmas tied for second place with, three wins. GREY LYNN. The Grey Lynn Club's full rink tonraeT was played in two sections. The A section was won by F. Baildou. Caddy. LiversM;e, Buckley, and the i» section went to Btnce, J. Dick, Brackebush, A. Parsons. Each team obtained four wins. Buckley won the final by 11 points to 10. REMUERA. The Rernuera Club held a progressive pairs tourney. The winning skip was G. F. Mellars, with five wins, and W. Bowles, fits wins, was the most successful lead. PAPATOETQE,.A pairs tourney was held on the Pipstoetoe Green. Four skips tied, with fonr wins and one loss each, W. A. Nesbitt winning on points. In the leads J. Daislej won with four wins and "ne loss. Papatoetoe meet Howick, at Papatoetoe, in the second round of the Gilmore Cup, on Thursday next.
