PAINFUL ACCIDENT.
EYES BADLY INJURED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) HAMILTON, this day. A painful accident befell Arthur Julius Creedon, motor truck driver, employed by the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company at Waitoa. Mr. Creedon had removed a cork to refill a battery when strong alkali shot up into his eyes. Ke is now in hospital. Although badly burnt it is thought that his sight will be saved.
