DUNEDIN WOOL SALE.
FIXER QUALITIES ADVANCE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Thursday. The second wool sale of the Dunedih eories was commenced to-night, when nonrly 8000 bnles out of a catalogue of 22,028 bales were offered. The bidding, except occasionally, was not so keen as at the December sale. •So far super halfbrods, three-quarter-breds and crossbreds suitable for America were from a half-penny to a penny a pound dearer than at last sale. On the other hand, medium and low lialfbreds were from a penny to a penny halfpenny a pound lower. Medium and low tnree-quarter-breds and crossbreds were from par to a penny a pound lower. -Merinos were most erratic. Super sorts were neglected and only one lot brought a satisfactory price. Merinos suitable lor scouring were much more keenly sought after, and were making within a penny a pound of last sale's prices but appreciably dearer. quoted
