': I Negotiations in connection with the' proposed visit by a New Zealand Native team to France are Hearing completion, and it is anticipated that the : Maori Advisory Board will shortly' receive instructions from the New Zea- ' land Rugby Union to proceed with the' selection of a team for the tour. Mr. ' S. S. Dean, chairman of the New: Zealand Rugby Union, informed -a. ! Wellington reporter that the tour was ' practically assured, advice having- been' received from the French Ruo-bv : Federation 'hat it had appointed" a. French tourist agency to make arrangements for the tour. c The information had also been received that passages tor the Maoris had been pencilled, for the team to travel from Sydney to Marseilles by the Messaoeri-s Mantimes Line. It was anticipated" that the team would be required to leave New Zealand in July, but definite information on thi-s and other matters was expected in reply to a cable sent by the New Zealand L nion.
