UNDESIRABLE POSTERS.
(To the Editor ) Sir.— lot of discussion has taken place lately in the daily papers as to certain picture posters beiag "wise" or "otherwise.'' I would like to mention one advertisement—an empty cot — appearing outside a Queen Street theatre. The idea of imputing this state of affairs to "(.'heating wives" must be repulsive to many married people. In these "high price" days, socalled "cheating wives" know that their husbands do not want hardly a first addition to the family, let alone two or half a dozen. Why, then, hold up "cheating wives" only to such derision? Apart from this, the empty cot advertisement is objectionable. I heard questionable remarks being bandied to and fro by a small bevy of young men passing.—i am. etc.. MOTHER OF FOUR.
