A wedding was celebrated in the Anglican Church, Drury, on Tuesday last, when Mies Jessie Appleby, fifth daughter of Mrs. A. . Appleby, of DruTy, was married to Captain W. J. Brooks, aLso of Drury. The decorations in the ehuxch were carried out by friends of the bride, a unique feature 'being a carpet of rose petals from the entrance gates to the church doors. The interior was also I tastefully decorated, with a beautiful floral wedding bell over the chancel. The bride, who was given away by her brother, Mr. J. Appleby, wore white satin and silver lace, with the usual veil and orange blossoms. She was attended by Misses Kathleen Brooks and Enid Moult, dressed in Dolly Varden chiffon taffeta, with multi coloured tulle veils, and carrying coloured posies with multi coloured tulle. Misses Dorothy Gardiner and Jessie Parker were dainty flower girle, dressed in- rose crepe de chine and carying decorated shepherd' crooks. Mr. H. Hamilton was best man, and Mr. S. Flanagan groomsman. Master Roy La Cassie was page boy. After the ceremony a reception was held, followed by a pleasant little dance. EOTORTJA NOTES. Mrs. Brent.
