A NEW ADMINISTRATOR. FATHER BRADLEY TRANSFERRED. The Rev. Father Bradley, S.M., the popular priest, who was, until recently, Administrator of St. Patrick's Cathedral, took up his duties as priest in charge of the parish of St. Michael, Remuera, on December 12. The Rev. Father Buxton, D.D., has been appointed Administrator of the Cathedral in his Father Bradley was attached to the Cathedral for about six years, three of which he spent as administrator. He was one,of the most liked and respected priests ever in the parish, and was well known for his work amongst the poor. He takes a keen interest in the youth of the city, and never a Saturday passes without he is at the Juvenile Court, watching the interests of any who have Bought his help, irrespective of their religion. It is a well known fact that Father Bradley, as head of the Catholic Big Brother movement, has, and is, assisting a big number of people not of his faith. He is liked by all with whom he comes in contact, in all walks of life. At St. Michael's, he has replaced Father Doyle, who was forced to retire owing to 'ill-health, the result of his service at the war. Father Doyle returned to New Zealand broken in health. He is at present ill in the north. Doctor Father Buxton is one of the youngest Doctors of Divinity in NewZealand, and is certainly the youngest administrator. He is a very capable priest and is a fine writer, being the assistant-editor of the "Month," Vlited by Bishop Cleary.
