LONDON BUTTER MARKET. LONDON, January 15. Butter is in fair demand at improved prices. New Zealand, choicest, salted, is quoted at 175/ to 176/; Australian at 164/; unsalted at about 4/ premium; Danish at 186/. Cheese is steady. New Zealand, white, is quoted at 100/ to 102/, and coloured at 102/ to 104/. Australian has been cleared.—(A. and N.Z. Cable.) Last week's report stated: The butter market is quiet. New Zealand choicest salted is quoted at 168/ to 170/. Australian is quoted at 158/ to 160/; unsalted, 2/ to 4/ premium. Danish is realising about 168/. Cheese is firmer. New Zealand, 98/ to 100/. Australian, 94/; exceptional, 95/.
