i SHIPS FROZEN IN. 5 FOOD FOR THE CREWS. 1 2 BERLIN, January 15. 1 The German battleship Hessen failed 5 to release the vessels which have been " caught in the ice in the Gulf of Finland. ' She has now returned to Revel. Russian ice-breakers used in the i attempt, which are the most powerful in ' the w r orld, also failed.
