A steamer purchased by the Northern Wairoa S.S. Co., Ltd.. to run in a new service between Auckland and Opua, Wbangaroa, Mangonui, Hoktanga, Dargaville and Kaipara ports, arrived at Auckland last night and berthed it the King's wharf this morning to discharge 100 tons or telegraph poles and general cargo. The Kurnalpi left Sydney on January 6 and made a fine-weather voyage of 7 daye °2 hour?, with light westerly and southerly winds.
