PASSES THE MILLION.
EXHIBITION ATTENDANCE. IXVERCARGILL LADY'S LUCK. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUXEDIX, Thursday. ■ The millionth visitor passed through the gates of the Exhibition this afternoon. She was Miss Jean Lamont, aged 17, of Invcrcargill. She was met on the inward side of the turnstiles by tho president, Mr. J. Sutherland Ross, and the general manager, Mr. C. P. Ilalnsworth, amid the cheering of a wntchlnsf crowd, and was presented with the gold watch which it had been announced would be given to mark the oeeaslon, Mies Lamont arrived from Invercarglll only, to-day, and it was her first vieit to the Exhibition.
