FLOODS IN HOLLAND.
WATERS NOW RECEDING. AMSTERDAM, January 12. All the rivers in Holland have nowfallen considerably. The damage done by the floods is grave. Many houses completely collapsed and their contents were ruined. The Queen has sent a message to the people praising their heroic rescue work and their unselfish welcome given to homeless refugees. She appeals to all To join in prayers for the victims. Her Majesty and the Prince Consort nave decided to devote all the contributions to their silver wedding fund towards the flood relief funds. —Reuter.
