•NEW SOUTH WALES FINANCE.

By raising the income tax exemption from £250 to £300, by deductions from income in connection with medical and funeral expenses where the income of a taxpayer does not exceed £900, and by other exemptions, the N.S.W. Premier and Treasurer, Mr. J. T. Lang, anticipates that taxpayers will be relieved of payment of tax of from £350,000 to £400,000.
