Heather Koberten and Co., ] Ltd., 'who have been appointed the \ Auckland agents for the vessel. i The Carinthia, which is specially ] designed for long distance cruising, is Of j 27,000 tons displacement, and was built j at Barrow-on-Furness by Messrs. Vie- •, kere, Ltd. She will be the most luxuri- , ous passenger liner to visit this port , to date. , On her world cruise the Carinthia will . cover more than 38,000 miles and will ( occupy 149 days. Oil fuel will be used , throughout.
