MAORI GIRL TROUPE.
-» SUCCESS ON "AUSSIE" STAGE. Dooking very smart in their Sydney high-heeled shoes, silk stockings, and cloche hats, ten Rotorua Maori girls, who have been over in Australia giving entertainments, returned by the Maunganui this morning. Guide Eileen, with , the tatoo on the chin, a fashion that does not ,appeal to the younger generation, was a striking ■figure in the party. On tour her norn de theatre was "Princess Rangiriri," which gave the bills a note of eclat. Mr. R. Munro, of Rotorua, who travelled with the party as manager, says they had a wonderfully successful ■season. ' Travelling under the auspices of Union Th%atres, they showed in every State in the Commonwealth. They gave a twenty minute turn, and the items included pois and singing. So successful was the tour that next February, Mr. Munro intends taking a party to America, Europe, South Africa, and the East, giving entertainments on the same, lines. '
