THE LOCAL BODIES LOANS ACT, 1918. PROPOSED LOAN-, OF £9050 ' FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO PRINCES STREET.. The Mayor, Councillors and Burgesses of the Borough of Otahuhu hereby give riotlce in pursuance of section 9 ,of the abovementioned Act. :„. -. ". (1) That the purpose for which the Loan is required is for-the. formation of Princes Street from the Great South Road to Albert Street ; at permanent levels, with -tar or bitumen • sealed surface; the purchase of land for completing the widening of the side of the street between the Great South Road and Panmure -Road, and the formation of two footpaths from Albert Street to Panmure Road and one footpath from Panmure Road to Great South- Road. (2) That the Otahuhu Borough Council, being unable to provide the necessary funds for such works out.of the ordinary revenue of the borough, proposes to raise-a Special Loan of not exceeding £9050. (3) That the proposed security for the repayment of such loan shall be an annually recurring special rate of eleven-sixteenths (11-16ths) of a penny in the pound on the ratable value of all ratable property in the Borough of Otahuhu. (4) That the Otahuhu Borough Council proposes to make such loan repayable. In 361 years, and to make provision for the payment of a sinking fund of not less than one per centum per annum. (5) That the Otahuhu Borough Council proposes to pay out of the loan, moneys the cost of raising the loan, together with the Interest and sinking fund' thereon for the first year. " R. W. F. WOOD.
