A MODEST AUTHOR. DOESN'T WANT MONEY. * LONDON, December 6. .Sir J. M. Barvie objecting , to the proposed revival of his early work "Walker, London rights, which he sold in 1892 for £250 sterling, says the play wa9 an early indiscretion which was better dead. He says: "I do not want to cause trouble, but should it be necessary to institute legal proceedings to prevent the play being performed I am prepared to go the whole hog." Although the musical comedy rights of the farce would be now worth£lo,ooo Sir James Barrie insists it is not a question of money.— (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
